Bewley Homes is delighted to announce its recent Golf Day event raised over £30,000 for Sebastian’s Action Trust. The event, held at the prestigious Sandford Springs Hotel & Golf Club in Tadley, welcomed over 140 golfers, including staff, subcontractors and suppliers, for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving.

Bewley’s popular annual golf day featured various competitions throughout the day, including the competitive ‘Beat the Commercial Director’, offering participants an enjoyable and engaging experience on the course.

After the golf, guests enjoyed refreshments, a two-course meal and the event culminated in a lively auction, which significantly contributed to the impressive fundraising total. Ex-England and Harlequins rugby player, Jack Clifford, was on hand in the evening to offer an entertaining insight into the life of a professional rugby player.

Andrew Brooks, Managing Director of Bewley Homes, expressed his gratitude to all participants and supporters: “Once again the Bewley Golf Day surpassed our expectations and raised over £30,000 for Sebastian’s Action Trust a charity we have supported for a number of years. We would like to thank everyone who attended and for showing such generosity.”

Andrew added: “Our golf day has become a much-anticipated event, and it’s wonderful to see so many of our business partners come together to support such a deserving cause. We are proud to contribute to the Sebastian’s Action Trust fundraising efforts and help them continue their valuable support to families.”

Sebastian’s Action Trust, a charity dedicated to supporting families of seriously ill children, will benefit greatly from the funds raised. The Trust provides vital services and facilities that offer comfort, respite, and practical support to families.

Hazel Bedford, CEO at Sebastian’s Action Trust, added: “A big thank you once again to Bewley Homes for organising their golf day and everyone who participated and gave so generously. The fundraising is vital to enable us to continue with our support of families facing the toughest challenges.”
