Ringing endorsement as Hampshire estate agent buys Bewley home

7 Apr 2023

Hampshire estate agent, Ed Worby, was so impressed by the Bewley Homes’ development he was helping to sell, in Wickham, he decided to buy a home there. It was a ringing endorsement for the award-winning housebuilder.

Ed, who works for Charters, has now moved into his new two-bedroom semi-detached home at Bishop’s Garden and couldn’t be happier.

He was among the first residents at Bishop’s Gardens and Ed said the great location was one of the key factors in the move from nearby Bishops Waltham.

Bishop’s Gardens is within walking distance of the centre of Wickham which offers a host of independent shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. It also benefits from being close to rural walks and the Meon Valley Trail which runs through the area along the disused railway line.

The location also offers a great base for Ed’s work as an estate agent in the area.

He paid £355,000 for the property and said that in addition to the location, he was impressed with the layout of his new home, the convenience and speed of the whole transaction.

“I love the fact that it’s brand new so there is nothing to be done to the house and the layout with two bedrooms and two bathrooms is great,” Ed said. “The smooth transaction also meant it was a hassle-free move which was a real plus point considering my busy work life balance.

“I get to see quite a few new build developments in the region with my job and Bewley Homes is among the best in terms of site layout, quality and location.”

Bewley Homes Sales and Marketing Director, Elaine Stratford, said it was the location, style and quality that were attracting a wide range of buyers and to have the endorsement of Ed was a real vote of confidence.

“At Bewley every customer is a VIP from their enquiry onward.  When we also have our own selling agents wanting to buy at the development too, that confirms the popularity of development and its wide appeal.  The quality and location of the development is attracting a wide range of ages and families.”
