The Bewley Homes’ charity golf day raised over £30,000 for Sebastian’s Action Trust held at the Sandford Springs Hotel & Golf Club in Tadley.
Bewley welcomed over 120 golfers, made up from subcontractors and suppliers, who teed off at the event which included various competitions held throughout the day and an auction which also helped raise thousands of pounds.
A pair of tickets, which included a West End show and hotel stay was auctioned for £5,000.
The ‘Beat the Commercial Director’ par 3 hole was eagerly competed as it pitted every golfer against Bewley Homes’ Commercial Director Simon Taphouse.
Simon Taphouse commented: “It was a great day and to raise over £30,000 for Sebastian’s Action Trust was an amazing achievement. We would like to thank everyone who attended and for showing such generosity for this amazing charity who we are supporting once again.”
Andrew Brooks, Managing Director at Bewley Homes, added: “Due to Covid, it was our first golf day since 2019 and, of course, we wanted to raise as much money as possible. Many thanks to Richard Dance for doing the auction who continues to give his time freely.”
Sebastian’s Action Trust supports offers an ever-evolving programme of free support to charities of children with life limiting or life-threatening conditions.
