Off Plan Success at Chertsey Development

8 Feb 2016

Just moments away from Chertsey town centre and train station sits Highcross Place, a development of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses. Launched in February 2015, the development was sold off plan to a number of local buyers. One such local was Sarah Smith, who was adamant to stay in the area but avoid the notoriously high Surrey price tag, now increasing an average of 6% per year1.

Sarah reserved her two bedroom property at Highcross Place at launch and comments on the buying process with Bewley Homes; “I moved into my house in June 2015 and I am still so impressed with the calibre of build and finishing touches. From the moment I purchased my home with Bewley Homes, the team were so attentive and a pleasure to deal with.”

Properties at Highcross Place started at £295,000, Sarah discusses the buying process of purchasing in her local area; “I lived in Hampton Hill previously and did not want to compromise on location for my next move. Chertsey was the perfect solution for me as I am still very close to my friends and workplace. As soon as I heard Bewley Homes was building there, I had to know more. Buying off plan didn’t put me off and a few months later, I was in.”

Aware of Bewley Homes’ excellent reputation for supplying high quality properties, Sarah faced strong competition to own a home at Highcross Place. With over 250 registrations by eager buyers received ahead of launch, it is of little surprise that all homes are now sold. The development has also been well received by locals, pleased with its integration into the existing Victorian architecture present in Chertsey. Sarah comments on the site itself; “It’s a really well designed development, I can see why so many people were interested. The timber framed, terraced properties sit harmoniously next to one another and suit the surrounding suburban setting. The landscaping complements the overall feel of the development and is really well maintained too. I always look forward to spending time in my new home and welcoming guests to come and visit.”
