Bewley Homes, an award-winning housebuilder committed to creating thriving communities, hosted a series of “Meet the Neighbour” events throughout December.
Community has always been at the heart of Bewley Homes’ philosophy. The company firmly believes that a strong community contributes to the overall well-being and happiness of its residents. By nurturing a sense of belonging, the company aims to create vibrant and cohesive neighbourhoods where residents can thrive.
The first two events, at Sovereign Gate in Overton, Hampshire, and Bishop’s Gardens in Wickham marked the onset of the festive season, bringing together residents and fostering a sense of community spirit.
To add to the festive atmosphere, Bewley Homes provided delightful Christmas refreshments, enhancing the warmth of the occasion.
Residents at Bellmount View in Faringdon, and Wilton Park in Beaconsfield, also gathered for evenings filled with joy and camaraderie. The ambiance resonated with the melodious harmonies of choirs singing cherished Christmas carols, spreading festive cheer throughout the neighbourhoods.
Elaine Stratford, Sales and Marketing Director at Bewley Homes, expressed enthusiasm for the event, saying: “It was heartwarming to witness the community come together at our inaugural Meet the Neighbour event at Sovereign Gate. At Bewley, we prioritise fostering a sense of belonging, and events like these allow us to celebrate the festive spirit while bringing neighbours closer together.
“When residents feel a sense of belonging and connection to their neighbours, it positively impacts their quality of life. Our Meet the Neighbour events are designed to break the ice and create opportunities for individuals, couples and families to come together, and form friendships that will extend far beyond the event itself. We are proud to see the bonds that are formed and the positive impact it has on our communities.”
