Fabulous Family Houses on the outskirts of Farnham

5 Jun 2018

Bewley Homes, the design led developer, is unveiling its two new show homes at the launch of Acacia Gardens, its Wrecclesham Hill development on Saturday 2 June.

The houses, each which feature the Bewley hallmarks of quality and craftsmanship, promise to impress with stunning bright and spacious interiors, practical layouts and exteriors which are pleasing to the eye.

Buyers need only step over the threshold to imagine what life here may be like. Visions of supper parties, summer barbeques or simply unwinding with a delicious drink in a favourite chair after a hard day’s work, spring to mind. However, these are not properties which simply denote a particular type of lifestyle, for they are practical too and it is obvious that Bewley has put a lot of thought and effort into the layout, really concentrating on how a future homeowner might utilise the space. As one would expect the room proportions are generous with Bewley’s signature high ceilings and wide hallways. The layout, which differs in each of the Fifield and Datchet house types, flows seamlessly and one can imagine preparing supper whilst the children do their homework after school.

Upstairs, the master bedroom comes with en suite shower room. The space feels generous and akin to a suite in a luxury hotel. For that feeling of extra opulence, the en suite is fitted with marble effect tiles and sanitaryware by leading bathroom brands, ROCA and Grohe. In addition, there is a well proportioned guest double and a single bedroom – ideal as a children’s room or, for those who work from home, a study; and a family bathroom.

The garden, accessed directly from the reception area, provides a secure space and, during warmer weather, is a natural extension of the interior. Mainly laid to lawn, it also features a terrace area – ideal for outdoor furniture and al fresco dining.

For those unfamiliar with Wrecclesham Hill, it is a quaint village on the very periphery of Farnham and very much benefiting from the shops, cafes, restaurants and superb transport links of this Georgian market town. Slightly closer to Acacia Gardens are a selection of eateries, including two pubs and a curry house; and a café at the locally based Farnham Pottery.

For those with school aged children or, indeed, those thinking of starting a family, the area is served by a number of good schools including Weydon School, Rowledge C of E Primary School and The Ridgeway School and a selection of independent educational establishments.

Jane Bailey, Sales Manager at Bewley Homes, says: “We understand that finding and investing in a home is one of the most important decisions an individual or a family can make. We strive to create practical and beautiful homes which will suit the needs of our buyers and stand the test of time. I’d like to invite anyone currently looking to invest in a home to come and see the properties we have created at Acacia Gardens and experience the Bewley difference for themselves.”
