Deepcut gets the royal treatment with Bewley at Monarch’s Grove – and a ceremonial start!

29 Nov 2023

Named to mark King Charles III’s coronation earlier this year, Bewley has officially broken ground at its Monarch’s Grove development of 65 homes in the village of Deepcut in Surrey.

Bewley’s Sales Manager Andrew Thomson, Sales Administrator Leah Bair and Marketing Executive Tiffany-Lee Rainbow were joined by Site Manger Mark Wood to symbolically start construction at Frimhurst Farm, off Bridge Street.

The award-winning housebuilder is creating a new community comprising 65 two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, with designs taken from its acclaimed Garden Village Collection.

Bewley is all set to open a five-bedroom Lambourne show home in late Spring of 2024 which will showcase the very best of family living.

This milestone marks a significant step in Bewley’s commitment to creating vibrant and sustainable communities in the region. The new development will not only provide low maintenance new homes but also provide open spaces amidst a tree lined rural setting, to maintain the area’s natural beauty and charm. The development has been carefully considered to blend seamlessly into the existing landscape, with meticulous attention to detail in architectural design and landscaping.

Deepcut is an aspirational place to live having been named number three in the top five most searched places to live within Surrey on Rightmove. Residents will benefit from a rural location that offers plenty of picturesque walks along Basingstoke canal and surrounding woodland.

Bewley’s Garden Village Collection is a portfolio of beautifully crafted homes with traditional exteriors, the latest technology and contemporary living spaces.  A Bewley home embraces energy saving and sustainability, making it more efficient to live in as well as reducing utility bills.

Bewley’s vision for Monarch’s Grove goes beyond just constructing houses. It’s also about creating a legacy for future generations, whilst ensuring a sense of belonging and community spirit for the very first families too. Elaine Stratford, Sales and Marketing Director at Bewley, said: “We are extremely excited to be creating a brand-new development in Deepcut. Buyers will benefit from a rural location that offers stunning walks alongside the canal and surrounding woodland.

“We are expecting our homes to appeal to a wide range of home movers. Our 5 star rating for customer service, our Trust Pilot scores and many customer testimonials, give any potential buyer a fabulous representation of how our homeowners feel about their home purchase with Bewley.  We are already taking early enquiries and expect to be able to help customers find purchasers for their existing homes if needed by providing the Bewley Bond and Part Exchange Services.”

Andrew Brooks, Managing Director at Bewley Homes, added: “This is another prime location for a Bewley development. It has that traditional, rural aspect and yet is convenient for travel to major towns on good road networks and into London.  These are very attractive homes, offering a great combination of external elevations which feel traditional but with interiors which are contemporary in layout and technology.”

Sales Manager Andrew Thomson added: “Self-contained, open spaces, set amongst mature trees and bordered by the canal makes it a unique, ‘very Bewley’ site. We look forward to building what we know will be a stunning development and become part of the new community in Deepcut.”
