One person who wasn’t going to have a problem with mortgage calculations when buying a brand-new property was accountant Dave Holiday.
Dave,42, a finance director in the sports sector, moved into a stylish four-bedroom house at award winning Bewley Homes’ Acacia Gardens in Farnham.
Acacia Gardens is a charming new development of just 47 three and four bedroom homes situated in the green, leafy countryside of Wrecclesham, on the very edge of the bustling Georgian market town of Farnham which is renowned for its independent shops, coffee shops and restaurants.
Buyers have been attracted to the development for its all-round value for money. Dave commented: “There are quite a few new build developments in the area and I have found Bewley Homes the best value on the market.”
Location was of prime importance for Dave. He explained: “It’s in a great location – near good schools, transport links and close to the town centre. We are also two minutes bike ride from a beautiful forest called Alice Holt which we have been exploring. It really is a development that offers a superb lifestyle.
All homes feature integrated appliances, French doors to a large living room and master bedroom ensuite.
At the start of the lockdown, community spirited Dave set up a WhatsApp group at Acacia Gardens to make sure anyone who needed any help could easily get in touch.
Dave added: “I set up the WhatsApp group so as people living at Acacia Gardens could keep in touch with each other and anyone who couldn’t get out during the lockdown could reach out.”
Away from the rigors of working in the professional sports arena, Dave enjoys riding his bike, running and spending time with his children. His new home comes with a good-sized garden which he says the children love.
Elaine Stratford, Sales and Marketing Director at Bewley Homes, said: “We are delighted that Dave has settled in so well in his new home and has become an important member of the new community.
“Acacia Gardens is clearly offering buyers a wonderful lifestyle and we are keen to be able to, safely, show people around the development again as soon as possible.”
The area boasts excellent road and rail links; 25 minutes to the M3 and Guildford, nine minutes to the train station which takes 55 minutes to London Waterloo.
