Just two months after the launch of Nalder Fields in East Challow, a quarter of the properties have been snapped up. Eleven of 43 three-, four-and five-bedroom homes launched in May are sold, with the first completions taking place later this month.
The development is built on land that was home to the Nalder & Nalder factory, where agricultural and brewing equipment was made for more than a century. Nalder Fields is a joint venture between Bewley Homes and John Putt, owner of the Nalder Estate. Generations of local families have worked on the site throughout its 150-year history, which also saw it used to make motor components for MG, Toyota and other brands. When completed, there will be 70 semi- and detached homes, with either double or single garages and gardens.
Prices range from £250,000 to £515,000. Neil Simpson, sales and marketing director of developer Bewley Homes, said: “We knew the fantastic location and attractive, well thought out design of the homes at Nalder Fields would prove popular with families but didn’t anticipate quite how quickly they’d be snapped up.”
The marketing suite is open Thursday to Monday from 10am-5pm.
