Bewley wins House Builder of the Year 2014

16 May 2014

2013 saw the Thames Valley property sector experience a strong recovery, thus making the introduction of these new Awards, organised by the UK Property Forum and Thames Valley Business Magazine, very timely.

Bewley Homes plc was nominated for House Builder of the Year. The award, sponsored by Pitmans LLP, required that nominee’s property developments should demonstrate awareness of environmental issues and the need for community engagement. Also, that the developments should create real economic benefit and show how good design can create places where people of all ages want to live.

Facing strong competition from fellow nominees, Linden Homes and Thomas Homes, the Bewley team was absolutely delighted to be named House Builder of the Year. “It’s a fantastic accolade and a great credit to everybody within Bewley Homes,” said Andrew Brooks, Managing Director, I congratulate everybody for their efforts and hope it is one of many awards for the future.”

The awards were presented by BBC Radio 2 personality Jeremy Vine, at a black-tie gala dinner at Ascot Race Course attended by 340 guests.
