The Bewley Homes’ charity golf day, held at the Sandford Springs Golf Club in Tadley, raised over £27,000 for Sebastian’s Action Trust

Bewley welcomed 148 golfers, made up from subcontractors and suppliers, who teed off at the event which included various competitions held throughout the day.

Through various fundraising activities, including an auction which raised almost £12,000, raffles and individual donations, participants united to make a significant difference to the lives of those in need.

The ‘Beat the Commercial Director’ par 3 hole was eagerly competed as it pitted every golfer against Bewley Homes’ Commercial Director Simon Taphouse.

Simon Taphouse commented: “It was a great day and to raise over £27,000 for Sebastian’s Action Trust was a wonderful achievement. We would like to thank everyone who attended and for showing such generosity for this amazing charity. In addition, Bewley’s Olivia Goodenough, Mick Heaver and Alan Smith deserve a special mention for their efforts to help organise the event.”

Andrew Brooks, Managing Director at Bewley Homes, added: “We have had a long-standing relationship with the charity for over 18 years and I know how passionate the staff are about fundraising for this amazing cause.
