Bewley Homes has teamed up with Faringdon Farcycles to sponsor the cycling club’s charity ride – Le Tour – on Saturday 17 July.
Over 300 riders, of all ages, will take part in the ‘event’ taking in the beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds over routes of 30 to 80 miles.
Le Tour has been recently awarded a Queens’ Award for Voluntary Service and this charitable initiative will help build sustainable, inclusive transport for families in the area to enjoy.
Bewley Homes launched its ‘Bewley Backs Bikes’ campaign as part of its 30th anniversary to promote safe cycling, a healthier lifestyle and mindfulness.
Elaine Stratford, sales and marketing director at Bewley Homes, said: “We are delighted to sponsor Le Tour de Farcyles. It mirrors many of the key aims of our ‘Bewley Backs Bikes’ campaign. We wish everyone taking part in this fundraising ride all the best.
“We are just about to launch our stunning show home at our new Garden Village Collection development in Faringdon so this is our way of supporting the local community.”
Syoerd Vogt, event organiser at the Tour de Farcycles said: “We are very pleased Bewley Homes has agreed to become the main sponsor of our popular event.”
Farcycles trains more than 400 children, young people and adults to ride each year.
