Bewley Homes has secured reserved matters planning permission from Waverley Borough Council for 80 new homes in Alfold, Surrey.
After a comprehensive programme of local public consultation, the Council voted to approve the award-winning southwest housebuilder’s reserved matters application.
Reflecting the identified local need, Bewley will now build a mix of homes including one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes including 24 affordable homes on land east of Loxwood Road.
A significant proportion of the land on the development will remain undeveloped open space.
Geoff France, Land Director at Bewley Homes, said: “We are delighted to have finally secured planning consent from Waverley Borough Council for this exciting development. This is great news as there is pent up demand for both affordable and market homes in this area. We look forward to getting on site as early as possible to build a range of quality new homes.”
Bewley Homes Managing Director Andrew Brooks said this site was strategically important for the housebuilder. He said: “We look forward to building what we know will be a stunning development and become part of the new community within the village.”
