Staff at Bewley have been talking and walking at lunchtime this week, just one of the initiatives to mark Mental Health Awareness week and encourage people to strike up a conversation.
Combined, Bewley employees racked up over 15 miles around the head office gardens which would have enabled them to visit at least two of its local developments.
Bewley is raising money for the Lighthouse Club this week, which is a mental health charity supporting construction workers.
Angela Terrett, HR Manager at Bewley commented: “Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual event where there is an opportunity to raise awareness. This year the focus is on anxiety which affects everyone in one way or another. As an employer we want to promote good mental health and wellbeing for our employees and their families by providing the best possible support.”
