Bewley Homes, has won a prestigious Silver for Best Medium Housebuilder at a glittering industry event at the 2022 What House Awards. It’s the third consecutive year Bewley has received a top award in this category, underpinning the company’s reputation for quality housebuilding.
Dubbed as the property industry’s ‘Oscars’, Bewley Homes were praised for its customer service, dedication to staff welfare and growing environmental credentials.
A spokesperson for the What House? Awards said: “Customer service runs deep and true through the Bewley Homes’ philosophy, but what also stands out is its commitment to its own staff – the basis of any good and successful business. Bewley keeps an eye on its employees as much as market conditions and the bottom line.
“Bewley leads the way on mental health as well as supporting colleagues, be it one-to-one or through team social events. It also launched its Pride of Bewley Awards, an internal and external scheme to encourage and reward a culture of appreciation for staff and subcontractors. Externally, its excellent customer experience underpins all Bewley’s sales and marketing initiatives.
“The company’s sustainability credentials are also illustrated by its low-carbon, biodiversity net gain scheme planned for Watermill Bridge near Newbury in Berkshire, while it has also partnered with a specialist to deliver solar PV and EV charging points across its developments.”
Elaine Stratford, Sales and Marketing Director, said: “It’s been a huge team effort across the year, with our colleagues and our suppliers and contractors working together to deliver the very best for our customers. The feedback we have gained has been exceptional and our NPS score exceeds that of some well-known international brands – that says a great deal. I was delighted to receive this prestigious industry award on behalf of the entire company.”
Bewley Homes’ Managing Director, Andrew Brooks, added: “This is true recognition from the industry and testimony to all the hard work, dedication and pride that our staff have for Bewley.”
