Bewley Homes presents Sebastian’s Action Trust with £23,789
Bewley Homes has presented Sebastian’s Action Trust with a cheque for £23,789, part of the fundraising amount raised at this year’s Bewley Homes annual Golf Fundraising Day.
The cheque was presented by Bewley Homes’ Commercial Director, Simon Taphouse to Jane Gates, Chief Executive of Sebastian’s Action Trust, on Thursday 12 October.
Based in Hampshire, Sebastian’s Action Trust provides emotional, social and practical support for children with life-threatening or life limiting illnesses, and their families, assisting from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond; and respite breaks at the Trust’s flagship facility, The Bluebells in North Waltham, Basingstoke.
Simon comments: “Giving back to the communities in which we live and work is central to our ethos at Bewley Homes and we were delighted that the money raised from the 2017 Bewley Golf Day has funded the Sebastian Action Trust’s Christmas in July party which helps to bring the sparkle and shine of Christmas early to seriously ill children. We have chosen to support this particular cause, not only because it is incredibly worthwhile but also because we know the money raised will help our community at a local level.”
