Bewley Homes has further strengthened its operational team with the appointment of Chris Adams as Commercial Director.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, Chris will be responsible for overseeing the commercial operations at Bewley, and the day-to-day management of the surveying and procurement team, based out of its headquarters in Baughurst, Hampshire. The role includes supporting the company’s strategic product and contract labour procurement process, setting commercial targets and analysing performance, as well as overseeing all estimating, buying and quantity surveying functions.
Chris described the role as a ‘fantastic opportunity’ to join the company which, once again, has just celebrated a Gold Customer Service Award for the fourth year running, along with a ROSPA and What House Best Medium Housebuilder Silver award in 2022.
Chris has worked for several national housebuilders and began his career as a quantity surveyor with Croudace Homes, before holding senior positions in the commercial departments of Berkeley Homes and, most recently, as Regional Commercial Director at Vistry Group.
Peter Carpinelli, Bewley Homes’ Operations Director, confirmed that Chris’ experience and initiative-taking approach will fit perfectly with the housebuilder’s ambitions for expansion into new areas.
