Developer gets muddy to raise over £6,500 for charity

Fifteen members from design led developer, Bewley Homes, undertook the GRIM challenge on Saturday raising an impressive amount for charity.

Held on the Army’s vehicle testing tracks at Aldershot, competitors needed to tackle a wide range of terrain from dirt tracks to muddy puddle strewn paths over a distance of either 4, 8 or 16 miles.

In what is the final year for this event, the Bewley Homes team, undertook 8 miles of gruelling challenge, successfully raising over £6,500 in aid of their chosen charities, Diabetes UK; Sebastian’s Action Trust and the Arrythmia Alliance.

Emily Clarke, Technical Administrator at Bewley Homes, who organised their team, said: “It was jolly hard work in weather which was wet and cold but, as a team we pulled together – determined to complete the course and raise much needed funds for our designated charities which have a very special meaning for each and every one of us.”
