It’s all about bicycles this month for award-winning housebuilder Bewley Homes which is promoting safe cycling, healthier lifestyles, and mindfulness as part of its on-going Bewley Backs Bikes campaign.
In its latest two-wheel initiative, Bewley paid for 10 bicycles for young Ukrainian refugees in Faringdon.
The bikes were supplied by local charity and cycling group Farcycles which encourages people of all ages to cycle and campaigns for improved cycling infrastructure in the UK.
Bewley has a new development in Faringdon and as part of its on-going community commitment wanted to support further.
Elaine Stratford, Sales and Marketing Director at Bewley said: “We have been working closely with Farcycles on a number of projects over the last two years including our recent sponsorship of its charity cycle fundraising ride Le Tour,” added Elaine. “It is such a lovely charity close to our Bellmount View development and we’re delighted to work with them to donate these bikes to the children.”
Elaine added: “It was wonderful to see the smiles on their faces when they received their new bikes and we hope they cover many happy miles on two wheels.”
This year, Bewley Homes provided a house in Whitchurch, Hampshire for a family from Ukraine.
Bewley Homes launched its new Garden Village Collection of homes at Bellmount View in Faringdon last year.
