Reporting to: Financial Controller
This role would suit a finalist or newly qualified accountant looking to progress their career with a fast growing and supportive business.
Producing monthly management accounts and board papers to a tight deadline (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, sales reports etc.)
Preparation of key weekly management reports in Excel.
Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of budgets, quarterly reviews
Liaising with the construction, technical, commercial, land and sales departments.
Managing and forecasting cash on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Assisting the Financial Controller with the preparation of the year end audit file and managing the annual audit process.
Other ad hoc projects as required by the Financial Controller.
Skills and Experience Required
4 years of experience in the Finance function working to tight deadlines.
Excellent IT skills (especially Microsoft Excel).
A team player with good communication skills.
Able to take responsibility for key Finance functions with minimal supervision.
Experience in the residential housebuilding industry.
Experience with the COINS construction industry software system.
Basic Salary £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on stage of accounting qualification and experience).
Annual Bonus 10% of Basic Salary based on performance.
