The members of the Bewley Homes’ Board are as follows:-
Andrew Brooks (Managing Director)
Upon leaving university Andrew worked for several building contractors before joining Bewley Homes in 1995 where he was responsible as site manager for the construction of a number of sites. He was appointed Managing Director in 2013 having previously been Land Director.
Elaine Stratford (Sales and Marketing Director)
Elaine joined Bewley Homes in September 2018 as Sales and Marketing Director. She has enjoyed a successful career, built up over many years in the industry and has counted industry heavyweights including Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon, McCarthy & Stone and Charles Church, as her previous employers. Elaine’s experience and expertise is widely acknowledged as second to none. Highly regarded by her peers, she is known for her marketing acumen, proven sales record and being a team player. Her remit includes overseeing the sales and marketing strategy; managing customer relationship management and management of the sales team in order to optimise the customer experience for buyers and ensure sales targets are met. In addition, she assists the land team in optimising value through land acquisition.
Andrew Morris (Strategic Land Director)
Andrew joined Bewley Homes in 1997 as Strategic Land and Planning Director. He has 30 years’ experience in planning and construction and is responsible for the provision of longer-term land, typically held under option or with more complex planning issues attached.
Simon Taphouse (Commercial Director)
Simon became Commercial and Construction Director for Bewley Homes in 2013, having first joined the company as a commercial manager in 2006. He is responsible for the commercial department, ensuring sites are delivered on time and on budget and plays a pivotal role in evaluating new sites.
Terry Bacon (Finance Director)
A qualified Chartered Management Accountant, Terry has 23 years’ experience in the property sector including residential housebuilding, estate agency and property law. He joined Bewley Homes in 2010 as Finance Director and his remit extends to operations, HR and IT.
Robert Murrell (Associate Construction Director)
Bob has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry and residential market and joined Bewley Homes in 2014 as Associate Construction Director.
Peter Carpinelli, Operations Director
Having previously worked as a Managing Director for Linden, Redrow and David Wilson Homes and Regional Director for a number of national housebuilders, Peter initially joined Bewley Homes as Development Director in May 2018 before being promoted to Operations Director later that year.
His remit includes overseeing the direction of the Technical, Commercial, Construction, Sales & Marketing and Customer Care departments – an all-encompassing role which requires an in-depth knowledge and experience, gained over my many years at a senior level – something Peter has in abundance.
All members of the Board work tremendously well together, and bring experienced diversity and a mindset for growth. Yet all share the same core values and passion about building new Bewley Homes that delight customers and keep them coming back.
