Andrew BrooksManaging Director
Andrew Brooks joined Bewley Homes in 1995.
Working initially in the Construction Department on site. In 1998 Andrew began working in the Land Department as a Land Buyer, becoming Land Director in 2002.
Andrew was appointed Managing Director in 2012.
Elaine StratfordSales and Marketing Director
Elaine joined Bewley Homes in September 2018 as Sales and Marketing Director. She has enjoyed a successful career, built up over many years in the industry and has counted industry heavyweights including Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon and Charles Church, as her previous employers. Elaine’s experience and expertise is widely acknowledged as second to none. Highly regarded by her peers, she is known for her marketing acumen, proven sales record and being a team player. Her remit includes overseeing the sales and marketing strategy; managing customer relationship management and management of the sales team in order to optimise the customer experience for buyers and ensure sales targets are met. In addition, she assists the land team in optimising value through land acquisition.
Terry BaconFinance Director
A qualified Chartered Management Accountant, Terry has 23 years’ experience in the property sector including residential housebuilding, estate agency and property law. He joined Bewley Homes in 2010 as Finance Director and his remit extends to operations, HR and IT.
Robert Murrell MCIOBConstruction Director
Robert Murrell MCIOB
Bob joined the Bewley Team in 2014 as Associate Construction Director having previously held senior Director roles for a number of National Housebuilders and major Construction Companies over many years where he accumulated a wealth of experience and was promoted to Construction Director in January 2020.
His remit includes overseeing the construction process throughout the life of our developments in conjunction with the Construction team, Subcontractors and Suppliers alike and to deliver every Bewley new home and development to our exacting standards on programme.
Peter CarpinelliOperations Director
Having previously worked as a Managing Director for Linden, Redrow and David Wilson Homes and Regional Director for a number of national housebuilders, Peter initially joined Bewley Homes as Development Director in May 2018 before being promoted to Operations Director later that year.
His remit includes overseeing the direction of the Technical, Commercial, Construction, Sales & Marketing and Customer Care departments – an all-encompassing role which requires an in-depth knowledge and experience, gained over my many years at a senior level – something Peter has in abundance.
Geoff FranceEastern Land Director
Geoff France has been promoted to Eastern Land Director having been with the company for over seven years and will be responsible for growing the home counties land opportunities.
Andrew DriscollWestern Land Director
Andrew Driscoll has joined as Western Land Director to support the expansion of Bewley’s territory west of Reading into Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and through to Bristol.
Greg Locke has over 45 years’ experience in the house building industry.
Having initially trained as a quantity surveyor, he has spent the majority of his career at a senior management level working for 3 major quoted PLC’s, as well as a period in a private investment and property business.
Chris AdamsCommercial Director
With more than 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, Chris is responsible for overseeing the commercial operations at Bewley, and the day-to-day management of the surveying and procurement team.
The role includes supporting the business’s strategic product and contract labour procurement process, setting commercial targets and analysing performance, as well as overseeing all estimating, buying and quantity surveying functions.
Chris has worked for a number of national housebuilders and began his career as a quantity surveyor with Croudace Homes, before holding senior positions in the commercial departments of Berkeley Homes and, most recently, as Regional Commercial Director at Vistry Group
Craig IrelandTechnical Director
Craig joins Bewley with a 20-year track record under his belt. His construction career began as a Senior Engineer with Bellway Homes in 2005 before progressing in the industry to his most recent position as Technical Director with Inland Homes.
He has also worked for Barratt Homes in London and his career also included a spell working in Abu Dhabi.
Craig arrives at a time of expansion for the housebuilder and his experience as well as proactive approach fit perfectly with Bewley’s ambitions.
John HudsonNon-Executive Director
John is Founding Partner at Spring Ventures, an independent private equity management company. He is a chartered accountant with 25 years experience backing MBOs at private equity businesses Dunedin, Sand Aire and now Spring Ventures.
He has played a key role supporting Bewley’s development and growth over the past 12 years. He serves as a non-executive director for a number of other owner-managed companies.
Peter CarrNon-Executive Director
Peter has over 34 years experience as an in-house lawyer in the residential development sector and has spent the last eight years with Linden Homes as General Counsel.
Since its inception in 2006, Peter has also chaired the Home Builders Federation (HBF) Legal Group, comprising the General Counsel to the major national housebuilders.
